voicemail: "Scout Camielle Hurst, this is your mother. This is the fifth time you've packed your bags and left the house, and quite frankly, i'm sick of it. You're an eighteen year old girl. Your life isn't as terrible as you proclaim it is, infact, I think you have it quite good. You have two loving parents and loving brothers and sister who only want the best for you. This music career that you want: Point blank, it isn't going to happen. You have so much more potential! What was it you wanted to be when you were younger? A....A forensic scientist, right? Yes, that's it. But if you insist and doing this stupid, idiotic idea, then I guess I can't stop you. You're a legal adult, I suppose. But when your dream fails, don't come back to us for a place to stay or ask for money. We will not sit here and watch you destroy the potential we raised you with. Don't call your brothers, or your sister. They won't help you. We really do love you, honey, but I won't watch you mess up with a blind eye. As of now, you're cut off. Maybe you'll see what you're doing is a giant mistake."
"Guess what, Scout? I found his number in your dresser. Are you so fucking stupid you think I wouldn't find out? God, you're such a whore! First you tell me that you love me, move into my house, mooch off of me for a good two years and then you cheat on me with my best friend? We're through. You got that? Don't come back to the house. I had your best friend come pick your shit up. And don't you dare try to turn this on me. I was a great boyfriend and a better fuck. But guess what? You've lost that. Have fun living with your best friend, bitch! I know your parents don't want you back, either. Have a fantastic fucking life, Scout."
personality: Generally Scout gives off an aura of not giving a flying fuck. As mischievous as she may seem, she does not like poking her head into other's people business and getting sucked into completely stupid drama so she tends to avoid it by keeping up a hard exterior of not caring. Of course, this doesn't mean she doesn't care. As cold as she may seem, Scout is a very caring girl and gets attatched to people rather quickly, so quick it tends to scare her and the others around her. Infact, Scout could possibly one of the most caring people you meet. Growing up "without a mother," so she likes to say, she tends to be motherly towards other people, especially those who she can connect with on an emotional and intellectual level.
Not that she means to, but Scout is a bit promiscuous. Being a lead singer in a band, her promiscuity level has been blown up to completely ridicuouls proportions. At times she can end up breaking a few hearts but in her nature, it's hard for her to stay with one single person for a long period of time without cheating. The longest time she went in a relationship was three years, and to be honest, Scout cheated on him so much with his best friend and brother you'd think they were all in a polygamous relationship.
And one more trait of hers is that she is rather wily. Scout tends to base her actions on whether the affects it will have on her. Or, how it will benefit her. For example, if you're rich, loaded to the brim with stacks of money, do you really think Scout suddenly finds you attractive and hilarious? I mean, sure. What a coincidence! Okay, so, maybe she doesn't really find you attractive or hilarious and she just wants your money. But she isn't a gold digger. Atleast, she doesn't think she is. Scout just likes to have a good time and tends to only do things that have a positive outcome for her.
She has more traits. But these seem to be her more obvious, in-your-face ones.
history: Scout's parents were killed by a drunk driver. Point simple and blunt. She had only been a toddler at the time so she doesn't remember much about them, except her dad had alot of tattoos and her mom loved piercings and bright colors. Because neither of her parents had good relationships with her families, legally that had it made so, incase of an accident that left both of them incapable to raise her, she would not go to any of their family members and instead put up for adoption. And she was, and she had been snatched up fairly quickly by a bossy woman named Sarah and a cold, emotionless man named Jack that appeared not to give a fuck about anything. He was only doing ot just to make his wife happy, because she wasn't able to have her own children. Over the years she grew up with a fond hatred for them and often tried to run away, though finding it harder and harder each time Sarah and Jack adopted a kid. Scout fell into the scene of doing drugs and alcohol and though she never got addicted, the girl never really knew when to stop. Eventually, on the night of her eighteenth birthday, she was gone to live her dream of being a musician. Hopefully. It was on her to do list to make amends with her family once she was signed, actually.
No such luck.
HEY, MY NAME IS SANDRA. I HAVE BEEN ROLE-PLAYING FOR 2 YEARS. I PLAY 0 OTHER CHARACTERS, AND HERE'S A SAMPLE OF WHAT I CAN DO;Missing someone was a very odd feeling.
Atleast, it was for Ash. The boy got attatched easily so it wasn't unusual for him to think of you like a best friend right away. Therefore, he missed alot of people though right now he was missing a certain boy with no hair. And teeth so shiny that it burned his eyes and made the sun look very dull in comparison to the certain glisten they had. Aside from his good looks, Emmett was funny. The occasional teasing he gave out about him being a strange, walking contradiction oddly enough made him feel wanted in the other boy's life. Of course, from the get go it had hurt his feelings but now it was lightening up to where Ash would think something was wrong with the other boy if he wasn't poking fun at him. Normally Ash hated any sort of teasing, and really didn't let anyone tease him and Rae was pretty much proof of that. She was incredibly protective of the eighteen year old, even if she was shorter than him and younger by two years. Still, it was one of those odd things Ash had grown accustomed in during his time at Jasper hill. But he wouldn't call it a crush. No, he did not have a crush on Emmett. Okay, so, maybe that was a bit of a lie but he didn't want to form any sort of love-type relationships with people ever since he had been cornered at a party. It was just..unnatural to him now. Besides, he hadn't even took a single second to think Emmett might actually like him alittle too.
The boy didn't want to get out of his warm bed, covered in white sheets and draped with a light blue comforter that was doing it's job well. Ash was far too comfortable to even lift a hand up to push his tiny, multicolored spotted papillon, Digby, off of his chest so he could roll over and face the wall. It was saturday, and almost everyone at the campus had plans. All for him. It was always him that got left out of plans because even though he liked having friends, he didn't really like hanging out with anyone besides his red head friend and his friend with no hair and must have swallowed a ton of colgate when he was younger. Being out and about wasn't something the male liked to venture out of the safety of his bed and do. It was strange to him that people even actually liked getting out of their sweet beds to go out into hot days, cold days, rainy days and snowy days. All just to shop, gossip or do whatever it was that they did. But when his blackberry lit up with a white screen that illuminated his dark room thanks to no lights or open curtains, he practically hissed as he pushed his dog down to get it. His sleepy hands grabbed for it, almost knocking it over which would have caused Ash to 'accidentally' forget he had a text, and smiled when he saw he had a text from Emmett (appropriately saved in his contacts as Colgate) he sent a quick reply saying he'd be at the beach soon and started to move out of the comfort zone that was his bed.
Thankfully from looking out of his window, he could easily tell that it was gonna be a mild day, what with winter heavily flirting with the warm springtime. But yet, Ash wondered what Emmett had to show him at a beach that couldn't be found inside of their rooms. Water, sand, dayligh, fresh air, who needed it? Ash was happily content with just lounging around inside his room, eating popcorn and watching a movie with the other boy. Now clad in black jeans and a light redish-purple shirt with a black hoodie, he slipped on his shoes after putting them snuggly into his socks and walked out of his bedroom door, blocking his eyes from the light because somehow he had forgotten to turn the lights on in his room, so he wasn't used to the sudden brightness that had been inflicted on him. Through the murmur of some people stuck behind in the school, Ash walked out into the daylight slowly, as if he'd burn if his skin was touched with the beams of light. The journey to his car was short, yet tiring because the boy still had sleep on his mind, he got into the silver machine and started it up, pulling out of the student parkway and onto the mainstreets of the area around the school and started towards the beach.
When the road slowly transformed into sand and the cemented sidewalks paved into trees, Ash settled for parking in the vacant parkway and removed himself from the car, shutting his door with a tiny thud. Pleased to see Emmett right off the bat, he jogged over which was something he hadn't even expected himself to do. Putting his hands in his pocket, he put on a faux pout and looked at the boy. "You woke me up, you know. Kind of. I was awake but going back to bed. What's so important that you dragged me out to the beach?" Realizing he may have been rude, he put on a smile. "Hi, by the way."
