One fact about Monte was she hated being seen at clubs, another fact she didn't even like going to clubs all that much. Monte preferred the crazy party over the newest club, but there was just one small problem with that. Monte didn't know anyone who was throwing a party tonight and she desperately needed to be cheered up, she hated when other people were negative, and that meant her as well. She already knew she could be a douche bag to some people then why not be a positive douche bag? She could get easily laid at a party just like a club, but since a party was out of the question. The club was the second best thing. Don't get the girl wrong, She loved the music, and she loved being on stage. Knowing Monte being in a band had it's benefits like a lot of people knowing who you were. Now here was the problem She wasn't too big on one night stands or flings. Second problem was it got even harder when you were only interested in girls. It was a real hassle when the girl beside her always woke up and freaked cause she had just slept with a girl cause she got really wasted the night before. Yeah Monte wasn't into all that bullshit.
So what was Monte suppose to be doing anyways? She couldn't dance or at least she didn't think she could, but then again she didn't call swinging your hips back and forth and grinding on your partner dancing. She started to think back to the last time she got laid. Which was probably six months ago. And if you thought about it from a horny guys perspective that was a long time ago. But then again Monte wasn't too big on flings. They just weren't her style. Though sex with the same gender sounded really good right now. Except while she was drinking it didn't. And that went for the chic she was going home with. The linger of alcohol on a girls breath while getting it on made her want to puke and that was a bad thing. Though half of the chics at a party or club were drunk, and anywhere else Monte was horrible at picking up girls. It was suppose to be the other way around. Girls were suppose to come to her. What the fuck the world was against her it felt like at times. And at the most, all she picked up were sloppy drunk men wanting something to put it in. Which she found no interest in at all. She found it actually quite gross.
Monte made her way to the bar, with no better place to be in the whole club, and the only place she remotely liked about the entire place. She sat near the far edge to the left. She knew alcohol was going to be out of the question for tonight. She also knew most clubs sold redbull and vodka, but Monte wasn't as big of a fan of redbull as she was of monster. She even went out of her way to ask if they sold it and when she was replied with 'no, they only sold redbull and how Monte might have wanted to go check a food mart'. Monte simply replied with how he should get a better fucking job if he wanted to get anywhere in life, but not before asking for a redbull instead. Sarcasm dripping from her lips. Continually swirling the ice cubes in her drink around the glass, taking a drink along with an ice cube into her mouth, then crushing it.
So if the drummer wasn't there to take someone home or party then why exactly was she there? To get out maybe, or have something to do. She wasn't in the best mood. That's what expected when she had to deal with idiot people. Getting out made her forget about most of it. Looking around the place, she should have decided to ask one of her band mates to tag along. At least then she wouldn't be there by herself. She started to think to herself that this wasn't such a good idea. That maybe she should have stayed on the bus and just have gotten high. It probably would have helped more, but she was hoping this would set her in a better mood. She looked back at her empty glass. Damn she needed another shot or more like a whole bottle of Jim Bean.
Maybe she was doing a little better than before. She wasn't anymore angry or pissed and pretty much over the idiots that were the reason she was here now. She guessed thats what shots did to you, made you forget and when Monte was feeling the buzz. This place didn't seem that bad anymore. Still didn't mean she wanted to be here. It was like life was giving her lemons when she specifically asked for drugs.
